Projects

Coming Soon For 2013

 Touch of Jewelry
Pink Rose Adjustable Silver Necklace

I am working on a new project called Touch of Jewelry where I will be designing necklaces, earrings, bracelets and key chains with photo image attached. All the photo images taken for these jewelry pieces are my original photos. These jewelry pieces will be available at my online shops and local arts and craft fairs.

Touch of Sea Life

Sea Dragon
Another new project is called Touch of Sea Life where I have been working on photographing sea life at aquariums such as sea dragons, sea horses, star fish, tropical fish and more. These photographs will be available for purchase soon at my online shops and local arts & crafts fairs.

Bouquet of Red Roses

Touch of Roses

In 2012, I worked on a project called Touch of Roses inside my studio and outside in the field. This was a fun project to work on as I learned how to use window lighting in my indoor studio and natural lighting outdoors. To the left is an example of a bouquet of red roses taken inside next to the window for natural lighting. This photo was on Auto Mode with a focal length of 24 mm with no flash.

Rose Garden
The next photo was taken outside on a sunny summer day in San Diego, California. I attended a Model A Event in San Diego and got the opportunity to stroll through the resort and photograph these beautiful roses throughout the complex. Someday, I would like to have a rose garden like the one I saw at this resort.

Iceberg Rose Tree
As I continue to learn more about taking photographs of roses, my next project was on growing an Iceberg Rose Tree in my garden patio. This was two projects in one. First part of the project was growing roses in my own garden, so I started off with the rose tree instead of a rose bush. I never heard of a rose tree until I saw this one in the home and improvement center. The second part was using my macro lens and standard lens to take close-up shots. This rose tree brought many close up macro photo opportunities. This photo was taken in the early morning close-up.
Roses in Sedona

As the year went on and I traveled to different places, I stopped and took pictures of roses every chance I got. The next rose for my project was taken in Sedona. In this photo, I was practicing my DOF skills. Flowers are great subjects to practice DOF or close-up macro skills.

The Touch of Rose collection is available for purchase at My Inspiring Fotos Etsy Shop in framed or matted wall art, greeting cards, key chains, candles and photo trinket/jewelry boxes.

 Touch of Color

Touch of Rain Drops
The Touch of Color project was something that I worked on in 2011, which the colors of the image is saturated to a black and white background, leaving the vibrate colors of the blooming flower. Here is a photograph that was taken at a resort in Mission Bay, CA after a rain storm.

Bird of Paradise

Here is a flower of a plant called the Bird of Paradise because the flower is placed perpendicular to the stem, giving the appearance of a bird's head and beak. All three of these photographs are available in 8 x 10 or 11 x 14 color matted frames at  My Inspiring Fotos Etsy Shop

Touch of Passion

This is one of my favorite flowers that grows on a vine. This photograph was taken from my garden in May 2010. The blue passion is a complex flower that is 10 cm in diameter with five sepals and petals that are similar in appearance. This flower grows on a woody vine that reaches about 15 - 20 meters high. These flowers look like little satelite dishes. Butterflies just love theses flowers.
